| Our fruitcakes are made from the
finest ingredients including Brandy. To
allow the cakes to mature we prefer to
make them at least 3 months in advance. As
many brides wish to offer their guests an
alternative to the traditional fruit
cake, one or more of the tiers can be
made as a Madiera or chocolate sponge. A
light moist fruitcake with tropical
fruits is another option. Each cake is
individually designed and any colour or
theme can be incorporated. Please feel
free to discuss your own ideas, any
design can be reproduced.
All our
cakes are decorated with sugar ornaments
or hand crafted sugar flowers which can
match or compliment your bridal bouquets
or table decorations. These are easily
removed from the cake and can be kept as
a momento of the day. Silk flowers can be
supplied if preferred.
If you
wish to bake your own cakes but lack the
time or confidence to decorate them
yourself then we will be only too pleased
to do this for you. There would be
approximately 25% reduction in our list
prices.
The cake
will be ready for viewing during the week
prior to the wedding. Prices include
local delivery and setting up of the cake
to save you worry on the day.
